Accessibility

At The Granville Theatre accessibility is our top priority. We believe theatre and entertainment should be an enjoyable experience for everyone, and it is our mission to strive for the best service possible for those with disabilities.

Wheelchair Spaces

We have 2 wheelchair spaces located in Row V of the auditorium, with seats located next to each space for a carer/companion.

Please note: These seats must be booked through an access account and will not show up on the general booking link.

Your Visit

Accessibility customers can enter our venue via a ramp that is situated at the front of our building, providing access to the bar and toilet facilities. An access toilet is also available at the back of the auditorium.

When it is time for you to take your seats a member of our team will escort you to the side entrance of the auditorium, where an usher will take you to your seats.

Can I bring a carer/companion?

ATG offer free Personal Assistant or Essential Companion tickets, subject to proof of eligibility which is administered by Nimbus Disability’s Access Card on our behalf. This facility is available to customers who require additional support or assistance as a result of a disability or long-term health condition, as defined by the Equality Act (2010).

By accepting this ticket your companion, who must be aged over 16, accepts responsibility for providing the additional support you require to access our venues and services, including in an emergency situation or evacuation and must be capable and available to provide this support throughout your visit.

Who is eligible?

Essential Companion tickets are intended for customers requiring additional support. This must be due to disability-related needs, significant and in excess of what could be reasonably expected of family or friends already accompanying you.
